Hey — I’m TJ, founder of Native Fish / Native Instinct.

I started the brand in 2019 while I was in nursing school, just sharing my fly fishing journey on Instagram. One thing led to another, and it turned into something bigger than I ever expected.

Today, Native Instinct is a Native American–owned brand, rooted in my Navajo Nation heritage and built for people who love the water, the wild, and the work it takes to protect both.

I’m passionate about making a real difference—for native fish and for Native American causes—and I want this brand to feel personal, not corporate. Real people. Real mission.
