For those who choose their own direction.
Some people feel most like themselves when they step away from the path laid out for them. They ask their own questions. Trust their instincts. Choose a life that makes sense to them, even when it looks different to everyone else.
Why the feather is upside down
The Nonconformist is a way of life. For Native Instinct, the upside-down feather represents the freedom to see from another perspective and the courage to live by what you believe. Worn at the center of your chest, it’s a quiet reminder: you get to choose your own direction.
When the world doesn’t make sense, it makes sense to live in the upside down.
Heavyweight 430 gsm fabric gives this hoodie a warm, substantial feel. The oversized fit and dropped shoulders leave room to move and layer, with a front pouch pocket and ribbed cuffs for everyday comfort.
The artist: Artwork hand-drawn by Tori Horton, a member of the Navajo Nation.

Native Instinct is Native-owned. 10% of profits from Red Hand pieces goes to Native-led MMIP organizations; a portion of Respect the Natives sales goes to native fish and the waters wild trout call home. We publish what we send.
Your piece doesn't exist until you order it. No overproduction, no warehouse of unsold stock, no two garment-dyed pieces exactly alike. It's slower. It's also the right way to do it.
