10% of profits from Red Hand and Respect the Natives goes to Native-led MMIP organizations and native fish conservation — every quarter.
Made when you order it — nothing mass-produced sitting in a warehouse.
A daily reminder to stand for something.
Reach for the Deer Woman 2.0 Hat on your way out the door. Tori Horton’s original artwork gives this everyday cap a story to share, while the structured shape, gently curved visor, and adjustable snap closure make it easy to wear your way.
The artist: Original Deer Woman 2.0 artwork hand-drawn by Tori Horton, a member of the Navajo Nation.
Behind the artwork
Deer Woman appears in the stories of several Indigenous nations, often as a woman with deer features. Her stories vary by community. In contemporary Native retellings, she is also portrayed as a protector of women and a reminder that those who cause harm must be held accountable.
Carry the message
Wear this piece as a reminder to value your own strength and use it to look out for others. Honor boundaries. Listen to women. Speak up against harm. When someone asks about the artwork, share Deer Woman’s name and start a conversation about the respect and safety Indigenous women deserve.

Native Instinct is Native-owned. 10% of profits from Red Hand pieces goes to Native-led MMIP organizations; a portion of Respect the Natives sales goes to native fish and the waters wild trout call home. We publish what we send.
Your piece doesn't exist until you order it. No overproduction, no warehouse of unsold stock, no two garment-dyed pieces exactly alike. It's slower. It's also the right way to do it.
