In the old Plains stories, thunder marked its own people. The ones the storm chose were called to live contrary, walk backwards, speak in opposites, do everything against the grain, because thunder doesn't ask permission and it doesn't follow a trail. That's the spirit on this one: the storm that moves how it wants, and the angler who does the same.
